RULES

• All allowed bats must have an "OTHG Certified" sticker affixed to the bat by an OTHG Board Member.
• A bat cannot be used in an OTHG game with the above sticker, no exceptions.
• Once a bat has been certified, it does not need to be recertified each season. 

• Obtaining a certification sticker:

                   a. OTHG Board will establish a schedule (time and location) at the start of each season where 

                        players can bring a bat to be certified and stickered

                   b. Bats can only be certified on these scheduled dates  

• Any bats that contain COMPOSITE material in the barrel and/or in the handle are banned from use in all OTHG games. 

• Violation of using a banned bat are as follows:

                    a. team forfeits the game

                    b. the player using the banned bat and the manager are suspended for the next two games

• If the physical structure of a bat has been changed such as inserting material inside the bat or painting the bat (to disguise a banned bat) other than at the top or bottom for identification

• Violation of using an altered bat are as follows (first offense):

                    a. team forfeits the game

                    b. the player using the altered bat and the manager are suspended for the next six games

• Violation of using an altered bat are as follows (second offense):

                    a. team forfeits the game

                    b. the player using the altered bat is banned from the league
